HELP KEEP RESCUED GREAT APES AND GIBBONS SAFE AND FED DURING THIS TIME OF CRISIS - THEY NEED YOUR HELP! This is the difference your kindness makes...WHY DO OUR APES NEED YOUR HELP?

2020 and 2021 have been the toughest years in WFFT’s 20 years of existence. As a result of the global pandemic, our income from international volunteers and tourists ground to a halt. The financial implications of the pandemic on WFFT have been devastating, and every day we are fighting to find the funds to feed and care for our rescued animals. Your support will mean everything to our great apes and 78 gibbons. Your kindness can keep our apes safe until the end of 2021. No gift is too small!

Your compassion will help provide life-long care to apes who have suffered so much at the hands of humans, and who were rescued from terrible situations of abuse. You will help provide delicious food, enrichment, first-class medical treatment and expert daily care from our dedicated carers. Your donation can also help to:

  • Give Nora (see pictures below) and her fellow orphaned gibbons a desperately needed island home where they can continue their rehabilitation.
  • To build an enriching waterfall in our orangutan forest enclosure (see Chico below).
  • Build a termite mound in Canoe's (chimpanzee) enclosure to help stimulate his natural behaviours which were robbed from him when he was stolen from the wild and forced to live in a tiny cage in the centre of Bangkok for 30+ years.
